E-wallpaper starting process

This is my final E-wallpaper image that I have make..^.^ Please leave some comment..Thanks ya..Hehe..Hope you guys like it.Each picture of it have their own meaning.

1)ALL of my explanation is base on picture above(top).First,open a new files by clicking "File" on top->"New" or shortcut key "Ctrl N" then it will pop a menu,click "preset" option to select the "International Paper",then click "Size" and select the "A4" and lastly click "ok".
Now,I prefer the A4 paper to change from portrait to landscape view.To do so,click the "Image"->"Image Rotation"->"90* CW".So you get your white A4 paper with landscape view.

2)I open a image files which i plan to use it.I choose this yellowish background as the background for eWallpaper.I think of using it because it look more like a poster or wallpaper that we can paste on door or wall.Besides that,it have some college and university student feel.

But first,I need to use "Rectangular Marquee Tool" or shortcut key "M" to select the portion of the background image that I want.

3)After that,I press "Ctrl C" to copy the portion that I selected and "Ctrl V" to paste it at the blank white A4 paper.Then I click "Edit"->"Free Transform" or shortcut key "Ctrl T" to adjust the picture size to the white background layer.As you can see the image cover the White background.Finaly I made my background for my eWallpaper.

4)I open another image which i edited since early ago in E-wallpaper Part 1-editing selection picture.Then drag the image of the FOM lecture hall into the background of eWallpaper.The reason I choose this picture is because I want to let people who see this picture gets the idea of lecture hall FOM student will studying in the future.

5)As Usual..Click "Edit"->"Free Transform" or shortcut key "Ctrl T" to adjust the picture size and this time rotate the picture so it have some kind of pattern for the ewallapeper.

5.1)Then I open another image which i found.Is a old note and I wish to write some wording on it later for those detail and information about FOM oepn day.

6)Same process...Click "Edit"->"Free Transform" or shortcut key "Ctrl T" to adjust the picture size.I plan to put at the left side because I want people to see the notice in there.After that,do you see a hole on the top left of the old note?I used selection tool to make it..First go find the eraser menu,then right click it and choose "Background Eraser" or shortcut key "E" and click the area which i choose is top left of the old note.

7)I open another image which i edited since early ago in E-wallpaper Part 1-editing selection picture.Then drag the image of the FOM building with nice sky color.The reason I choose this picture because it have some University building life.Every lecture and student will be gather in this building.Is a place to social between MMU staff and student.

8)As usual again..Click "Edit"->"Free Transform" or shortcut key "Ctrl T" to adjust the picture size.This times I want the picture to become smaller but keeping it original size.I also rotate the picture to right side.so have more effect.

9))I open another image which i edited since early ago in E-wallpaper Part 1-editing selection picture.Then drag the image of the FOM carpark in to the background again.The reason I choose this picture is because MMU have a large car packing for student or visitor and it is just right beside the FOM building.Student don't have to worry to walk so far from each faculty.
Each faculty have their own car park.Guess what?MMU has a large car parking areas!!!!

10)As usual again..Click "Edit"->"Free Transform" or shortcut key "Ctrl T" to adjust the picture size.This times I want the picture to become smaller but keeping it original size.I also rotate the picture to left side.

11)I open MMO logo image and paste it there.. I plan to place the logo at right side of the eWallpaper because I think is more formal style to put the University logo on top right.

12)So,we reached this part.. As I plan to use the MMU logo with the background color.So first I need to clear the white part of it.As usual,use the Selection tools,then use "Magic Wand Tools" to select those white part,some part of the logo I need to use "Quick Selection Tools" and zoom in to do it.The shortcut key to use it is "W".

13)After I have selected the part.. it become more easy.. Just press "Delete" on the keyboard and I get the MMU logo with the background color instead of white color.See?is so easy when I know the tools... hoorray.....!!

14)This process is almost same like the MMU logo.Just use the Selection tools,then use "Magic Wand Tools" to select those white part,some part of the "A TM University" I need to use "Quick Selection Tools" and zoom in to do it.The shortcut key to use it is "W"

15)After I have selected the white background of the "A TM University",Just press "Delete" on the keyboard and I get the background color of the lecture hall.^^

16)So now,I open another image..is looks like a tag.I plan to use it to put the tag below the MMU logo and type some wording about the "Contact US" information at the tag.

17)So,I have placed the tag on the right side just below the MMU logo..As you can see,on the top left and bottom left of the tag have some white background.I want to clean it.So I going to use same method..Just use the Selection tools,then use "Magic Wand Tools" to select those white part or use "Quick Selection Tools" and zoom in to do it.The shortcut key to use it is "W".Dont forget about the round hole too...

18)And yes..the white color of the tag is gone..as you can see and compare between previous picture.So i have finaly design the layout of the background. yeah...

19)So is time for me to write something..As you can see,I type many information inside.To type some text go to "Selection Tools"->choose "Horizontal Type Tools" because want the word to be more formal rather than vertical.Then just type it.After finish typing... I found out that there is a big place on the bottom left of the old note.. I plan to put some picture to cover it.

20)So after finding some nice picture.as last,I choose this FOM Cafe picture.Because I notice that all of my picture lack of something...that is "people and students who is studying"So this FOM cafe picture have some student enjoying their lunch.It fill some crowd effect.Is weird to have picture just building and is empty. Student can have some lunch during break without worry there is nothing to eat in the campus.

21)I also open some FOM office and tutorial class building image.I plan to let everyone to know that "Here" is the place that FOM student will be studying.Hope those student who see this picture will roughly have an idea about the surrounding study place.This is the interior design of FOM bulding,where left side of the picture is MMU lecture hall and right side is student tutorial room and lab.

22)I open another image too.I found out this image quite nice.This building is called GrandHall,where during final exam or big event are held inside here.

23)As usual... Click "Edit"->"Free Transform" or shortcut key "Ctrl T" to adjust the 3 picture size to become smaller but keeping it original size.I also rotate it so it look more better and nicer of course.There goes the three new picture of FOM building.
Ok... done mostly of the part.. Now I plan to edit those word that I had type...example add some effect on it..

24)So,to do some effect.. first go the the layer part..select the layer which the wording is there.Then right click the layer and select "Blending option" then I choose "Outer Glow" style and select the style you want.I choose "Spread" 50%,"Size" 30px and Opacity 100%.
As a result,the wording have outglow effect in the picture..^^.Done.. Now I going to plan to add some shadow effect..

25)To add shadow effect.. The process is still almost the same... first go the the layer part..select the layer which the wording is there.Then right click the layer and select "Blending option" then I choose "Drop Shadow" style and select the "Distance" of it..,"Size", and "Opacity".

26)As a result.. here comes the shadow and outer glow effect..Suddenly I thought of adding "Venue" and "Date". So I changing the design again.. haha

27)Yeah... I am finaly done....

28)This is my final picture of my master pieces.. lolx.. jkjk.. I hope lecture will like it..Every picture have their own meaning...So my target customer is whoever see this e-Wallpaper will have the infomation,idea of how the university looks like,and a perfect place to study without any worries.
